The browser storage and optional analytics technologies used by My Little Pony Test
2026/08/24
This policy explains how My Little Pony Test uses cookies, browser local storage, and similar technologies. Optional analytics remain disabled until you accept them. Continuing to browse does not count as analytics consent.
The site uses browser local storage for these first-party features:
| Key | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
mlp-quiz-progress | Resume the main quiz with versioned answers and progress | Up to 24 hours |
hk-quiz-progress | Resume the Hello Kitty quiz with versioned answers and progress | Until completion, restart, or browser deletion |
gg-quiz-progress | Resume the Ginny & Georgia quiz with versioned answers and progress | Until completion, restart, or browser deletion |
bj-quiz-progress | Resume the BoJack Horseman character quiz with versioned answers and progress | Until completion, restart, or browser deletion |
ma-quiz-progress | Resume the Moral Alignment Test with versioned answers and progress | Until completion, restart, or browser deletion |
mlpt-analytics-consent-v1 | Remember whether you accepted or declined optional analytics | Until you change it or clear browser data |
theme | Remember a theme preference when you choose one | Until you change it or clear browser data |
These items support a feature or remember a choice on your device. Quiz answers are not sent to our server.
If you select Accept analytics, the site can load:
_ga and _ga_<container-id> to distinguish visits and measure aggregate usage; and_clck and _clsk to connect page views into visits and understand interactions.Provider-controlled cookie names and lifetimes can change. Google Analytics cookies are commonly configured for up to two years; Clarity's _clck is commonly retained for up to one year and _clsk for about one day. Browser settings, provider controls, and our configuration may shorten those periods.
Optional analytics may receive technical and interaction data described in our Privacy Policy. They do not receive quiz answers from the quiz scoring code.
The site does not currently load advertising cookies. If Google AdSense is enabled, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, local storage, web beacons, IP addresses, and other device identifiers to serve and measure ads, limit repetition, prevent fraud, and personalize ads where the required consent exists. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use advertising cookies based on visits to this and other sites.
A Google-certified consent management platform will be used where required. It will disclose the applicable vendors and purposes and send the visitor's choice before advertising storage or personalized advertising is used. Visitors can also manage Google ad personalization through Google's ad settings. We will update this page if the active advertising configuration changes.
On your first visit, choose Decline analytics or Accept analytics. You can reopen the panel at any time through Analytics settings in the footer. A changed choice is applied after the page reloads.
You can also use your browser settings to view, block, or delete site data. Deleting local storage removes saved quiz progress and resets your analytics choice. Blocking feature storage may prevent quiz resume and theme preferences from working.
Questions about this policy can be sent to support@mylittleponytest.org or through the contact page. We may update this policy when our storage practices or providers change. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
